AIX 2026: RAVE Aerospace showcases RAVE ecosystem for inflight entertainment and connectivity under new branding

For the first time RAVE Aerospace exhibits under the new company name and brand design at Aircraft Interiors Expo in Hamburg.

Los Angeles, CA, April 6, 2026 – RAVE Aerospace announces its participation at this year’s Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX) in Hamburg from April 14th to 16th. In hall 3 at booth 3A10 the company will present its RAVE ecosystem for in-flight entertainment and connectivity. Visitors will be able to experience the first showcase of the new brand design.

The RAVE ecosystem reflects a shift from standalone systems to a connected, continuously evolving platform approach. It brings together onboard platform products, digital solutions, and services into a unified offering. Spanning in-flight entertainment and connectivity hardware, the operating systems that power them, and a growing suite of digital capabilities such as advertising and mobile payments, all supported by content integration and developer enablement.

At the core of this ecosystem is RAVE’s open platform architecture, enabling seamless integration of third-party applications and giving airlines the flexibility to scale, personalize, and continuously enhance the passenger experience.

“We are very excited to present our RAVE ecosystem under our new brand at AIX. Our experience has made us one of the most accessible, agile, and effective digital IFEC brands. Now we want to create the world’s best unified travel experiences, because we believe that this empowers airlines, delights passengers, and unlocks measurable value for both. We will do so in collaboration with our customers and industry partners. And that’s why we are looking forward to AIX where the whole industry comes together,” said Matt Smith, CEO at RAVE Aerospace.

Introducing RAVE OS 2, the Next Generation Digital Platform

Building on its open platform architecture, RAVE Aerospace is introducing RAVE OS 2, the core of its next-generation onboard digital software platform.

This marks a significant step forward, transitioning from a closed system to an open platform architecture that enables greater flexibility, scalability, and continuous innovation onboard. Paired with the new Harmony user interface, it delivers a consistent, modern, and flexible experience that can be deployed seamlessly across multiple hardware generations.

The platform also enables two new digital products. The Developer Suite provides a comprehensive SDK with robust APIs, while the App Marketplace creates a new model for onboard innovation. Together, these capabilities allow airlines and partners to develop, integrate, and deploy applications more efficiently, accelerating personalization, unlocking new revenue opportunities, and bringing new passenger experiences to market faster than ever.

“RAVE OS 2 is a fundamental shift in how in-flight technology is delivered. We’re moving away from closed, hardware-defined systems to an open, digital platform that evolves over time. That gives airlines the flexibility to innovate at their own pace, bring new capabilities onboard faster, and continuously improve the passenger experience.” said Ben Asmar, Vice President of Products and Strategy at RAVE Aerospace.

Intelligence In-flight

This year, RAVE Aerospace will showcase an AI-powered search and conversational interface, integrated directly into the Harmony user interface. Passengers can discover content, access flight information, and interact with the system in a more natural and intuitive way.

Powered by the RAVE 5 onboard AI engine, this solution connects across the media library, flight data, and personalization services, demonstrating how intelligence can be embedded directly into the passenger experience. As the platform evolves, these capabilities will extend to airline systems and APIs, enabling even more dynamic and connected use cases onboard.

Future Innovations and Collaborations

RAVE Aerospace will showcase a range of collaborative demonstrations at AIX, highlighting how the company is accelerating innovation through partnerships across its ecosystem. Developed alongside a diverse set of partners, these demonstrations bring together complementary technologies and expertise to deliver real-world solutions and a forward-looking view of the passenger experience. This approach reflects RAVE’s commitment to co-innovation, creating an environment where new ideas can be rapidly tested, refined, and brought to life for airlines and industry stakeholders.

RAVE Live Transcriptions and Translations - Crystal Cabin Finalist

Crystal Cabin Award Finalist

RAVE Aerospace’s Live Transcription and Translation concept has been named a finalist in the accessibility category of this year’s Crystal Cabin Awards. The solution transcribes onboard announcements into text displayed on the seatback screen and translates them into the passenger’s selected language in real time.

By improving accessibility for hearing-impaired travelers and breaking down language barriers between crew and those onboard, the concept enhances communication and creates a more inclusive in-flight experience.
